Two trains operating at once?

How do I get two trains operating at once? One train, say a light rail, would be operating on its' own: stopping at stations, passengers loading/unloading, obeying signals. The other train would be operating under user control. I am trying to add 2 trains to the "Metropolis - Modula City" route: one would be doing a loop through the city (operating on its' own) the other would be a light rail going out to the "islands".

You would have to give the Ai train a schedule, obviously starting with the first-last station in order.
Use the schedule library (which is where you put all the commands to complete the journey), then you give the Ai driver the command-copy commands from-insert-library-your schedule name.
If you want it to keep going put a repeat after the schedule.
You could set it up to have another train going the other way round if the track allows.
