Two installs sharing local folder ?

I have Plus and Retail installed
Can they both use the same Local Folder for access to downloaded content from DLS so I only have to down load items once for all builds

If you have things backed up, you have got nothing to worry about. Give it try and let us know what the results are. Otherwise, don't do it without backup.

Tony made it very clear that sharing a local data folder is a very bad idea. Don't waste your time.

The simple answer is no. Each version has features that the other does not have and could cause you big problems.

By mistake, I had 2 Trainz programs using the same data folder. Caused multiple rebuilding events, incompatible saves. Not worth saving disc space nor download time!
