Turning BLACK

Hi all I have reloaded TRS 2010 and I found that a lt of my running stock has turned black
can someone please help me out

This is a known issue due to texture compression settings. Shane has a tutorial on how to fix this.

Hi - It is not that simple. Turning off the compression is a start but if you have installed all you assets again with the compression on then you will either have to go back and reinstall 2010 again with the compression turned off first before you install any assets or download the assets again.

Sounds bad but really it is the only way.

Not necessarily - most of the time opening the affected assets for edit and recommitting or deleting and redownloading the affected assets (providing the option for texture compression has been unticked) should be sufficient.
