I continue to have 2 major bugs even with the latest patch 49933. Cant play Conrail Lincoln Secondary route...totally incomplete route appears, no trains..cant be used at all. Second is ECML Kings Crossing..the engine accelleration is slow going like the breaks are applied...but the indication is "brakes released". It only worked once after a reboot. this route is daed as well. Are there
permanent "no fix" bugs???

Hello,

I am not familiar with the route in question but if it appears to be "incomplete" it is likely due to missing dependencies. Have you checked the route in Content Manager? If you see the ? icon in what looks like a puzzle piece beside the route then it is missing dependecies. Right click on the route and select "view Dependencies". This will open a small window with a list of all dependencies for the asset in question. Record the kuids of the missing dependencies and do a google search for them. If you are unable to find the dependencies after a google search, post them here and some one maybe able to assist.

For you second problem of a slow loco, this is likely due to an incorrect espec or one that was not designed for cab control. Try changing the espec. again use content manager to find the loco in question and right click then select view dependencies. Clone the loco first to preserve the original and then right click on the clone of the loco and select edit - edit in explorer and modify the config.txt to a new espec. and test it. Also if you post the Kuid of the loco in question some one here may have encountered the same problem and can give advice on which espec works best with it!

Have fun

Bricey: both routes are built in to TS2010 and therefore should not show any errors or missing dependencies.

Sackman: I do not know what is happening with the Conrail route but are you allowing the ECML route to load fully before setting out with a train. ECML is a very large route and takes a few moments to load fully and trains can stutter while it finishes loading. Also depending on how powerful your computer is, if you are in an area with a lot of scenery this can also slow your trains progress.

the conrail route doesnt have any session nor any trains at all just a route thought its beautiful route but looks incomplete

If I've read the build number correct you should still have the ability to run 2010 in compatibility mode ?

Are you already doing this , If not try running the routes under compatibility mode to see if they operate correctly ?

Check both routes in CMP to see if any of their dependencies are faulty .

I've found quite a few faulty built-in dependencies in 2010 which wont work if you are running it in native mode .

Most of them are showing that updates are available but CMP won't download them !!

Kamran is correct...the Conrail route says 0 and has no sessions..but this was loaded from the original disc so why isnt it complete?

As far as the ECML, I waited it out to load but no go...it just seems like the brakes are on and she doesnt go anywhere. I am not familar with how to view the content and kuids for the routes in the original game.

Is this a built-in session for the ECML, and if so can you name it, also, if not built-in can you name the loco?
Any excuse to run the ECML :D

The session is HST Southbound express. I searched HST in content mgr and found kuid 59037-100001 intercity 125. I believe this is the loco in the session.
This Route and session was in my original install of the game. I also just notied that the tracking camera doesnt work in this Route either but thats not the big issue.
The loco will go to 8 or 12 mph at full throttle. All my other Routes work well.
Except for Conrail Lincoln Secondary..there is no session and that puzzles me. Why include it in the program if it is not complete?

Ok, fired up and drove the first 5 miles.
Long wait to have the all clear, first speed limit 25mph, then 50 and so on.
No problems here using Cab mode, Q, brakes off, F, forward, W, power up to 32 clicks.
This took it to 90mph.
First time I have done that session, usually make my own.
Any problems showing up in Content Manager re the loco?

Well, if it workd on your system it should work on mine...I will dig deeper. Another kuid can be 53584:14 for the loco. The kuid 59037-100001 said obsolete. Thanks for the feedback.

BR Intercity HST 43064,<kuid:59037:100001> is by markhodgkinson who doesn't have any built-in assets in TS2010 and is not in the HST session for ECML. CM3.3 shows this kuid as update available. The update for that kuid number downloads as Neoklai Railwoman 1,<kuid2:59037:100001:2>, a people kind instead of a loco!

Due for some shut-eye
The asset is BR HST 125 by Auran, <kuid:-1:100039>
Best of luck, persevere, the ECML is a work of art.

Rog,in content manager right click on ECML route go to down load click.
I did this the other day and it found 7 updates for a route that showed one bad asset when i viewed the dependences.
I kept all mmissingng dependences fixed doing it this way. have found unknowns that i have goggle. And yes built-in assets have assets that have gotten updated before & after there release of the game.

How are you trying to drive and what are you doing?
Have you moved the throttle up very very slowly 1 notch at a time?
Is your "Current Speed" indicator flashing?
Are both the brake levers on the left pulled right back?
A BR 125 is quite a difficult beast to handle and very quickly gets upset if it's not treated correctly.

Yup!!! I am an embarrassment...you really have to stroke this loco. I was able to get it off the dime and get her rollin one notch at a time.
The tracking view is still inoperative...but no big issue.
Thanks All...
