TS2010 + Fixed Track

In a recent post in the forum (I can't find it at the moment), a user mentioned that he liked to use fixed track in yards because it allowed him to move (or cut-and-paste) the yard without losing the track spacing etc.

Seemed like a good idea to me, but in looking at my TS2010 installation, I cannot seem to find any fixed track sections.

Am I having a "senior moment" or is fixed track not available as a built-in for this version of Trainz?

If fixed track can be used in TS2010, does anyone have any idea where I can find it?

Look under the scenery tab. Most the built-in ones start with FT.

Open the Content Search Filter button on the menu bar.
Add a new entry line and select Category in the LH box and Fixed Track in the RH box.
Only items that are Kind Fixed Track will then be displayed in the Scenery Tab. Note that this will include items that are not obviously fixed track in the normal sense.

if the only reason is so you can copy paste why don't you just copy paste the regular track?

Actually, George you can copy and paste track and other spline objects with the latest version of TS2010. You have to make sure you select a complete segment though, which is a pain, but it works.

Your older routes, by the way, work great. I've done some updating of the content - replaced some trees and roads to suit my taste, but other than that they're great. I've recently imported your Gloucester Branch and Cattaragus Creek and Lake Erie into my Enfield and Eastern. All of which is in TS2010.

When I get a chance, I'll post some pics.
