ts2010 ee crashing at loading

Hi all,

I have just bought and installed ts on my laptop. When I try to run it, it crashes at the "searching for added asset files" loading window.

Dose anyone have any idea how to fix this?

Any help would be much appreciated

I am running windows 7 with 2gb RAM, the computer passed all hardware checks

Firstly, are you running it as admin? (It needs to be if it is installed in the default location)

Secondly, 2GB of RAM is a bit low for TS2010 - consider adding more.

Thirdly, what's your build number (shown at bottom right of launcher)?

That may not be a crash at all. It would appear to me that your install went well and Trainz is merely updating the database. It is supposed to do that. However,this process can take a considerable amount of time, especially with a new installation. Usually if it crashes you will see the "xxxxx was forced to close, notify Microsoft about this problem, Yes or No". If you get to that point again, just let it run. It could take an hour or more depending on your system.
