TS2010 Content Manager hangs

installed SP3, have the last built.
all said in the title : my CM hangs randomly when adding certain archives.
need to reboot my computer, each time 1/2 hour to rebuild database.
is it a known issue ?

No. TRS2010 and CM3.3 is normally smooth as silk. Perhaps the archives you're trying to add are faulty. When you click on Content in the launcher does CM3.3 open?

Hi, yes it does after reboot, database repair.. and a good tv serie.
as you said maybe my archives appear to be the cause of the problem, created with 2004/2006, and also maybe i was stupid enough to create too big archives (average 80 mo).

funny detail : my CM titlebar says 'Content Manager v3.3', but clicking on help > about... leads me to 'Version : 2.0 (Build 43434).

You have something wrong with your installation if your CM3.3 help message doesn't look like this:

It appears (from your forum listing) that you have not registered any copies of Trainz. This might, or might not, have a bearing on your problem.

you're right itareus but i play with another account and 3 copies of trainz registered (2006/2009/2010) so i suppose the version number should be updated ?

If your version is the French edition, this may be normal. Maybe you should go to the helpdesk at the top and open a ticket.

There is some thing odd with that "Version" numbering - but that could be just a programming oversight in the French version. Worth asking the helpdesk as Bob suggested.

I suspect that the root cause may be a faulty archive, might be useful to know what version (and SP) the problem archives were created in, their date might provide a clue.
