TS2009 & TRS2006... Can we make a route together still?

I and a friend are trying to make Galesburg to Quincy. A route, however, he has TS2009, and I have TRS2006 + SP1. Can we work together? How do you enter Native Mode? Will the different maps be a problem? Or will I just have to originate it from TRS2006?

A LOT of help is required!

I am afraid the two are not compatible. A route saved in TS2009 has some coding which TRS2006 will not understand.

I know that, I found that out first hand... How about the other way around? And if it's the other way around, can he update it (Add stuff to it.) and send it back a-okay?

You can import a TRS2006 route into TS2009 and it will work correctly but you will probably have to run it in compatibility mode though.

Nope, because it will be saved as a TS2009 route which can not be imported into TRS2006
