If you haven't found out how to commit assets in CM2 with TrainzUtil yet, you simply open a command window, navigate to the bin folder in your TRS2009 installation folder, and type
TrainzUtil commit #####:#####
# is the kuid number of the asset that you want to commit.
Make sure the asset is "open for edit" in CM2 first.
Once you've done this, start CM2 again and you should see that the asset is now committed.
BTW, sorry to everyone else for hijacking this thread.
Maybe we should continue this in the Dev forum.
