I know I'm probably the first... I upgraded my computer from Windows 7 to Windows 8 and TS12 wont run. Is there going to be a fix soon?
Hmm, if it will run, trainz I mean, highly depends on what version of Windows 8 you've installed.
If you have an RT version older 32 and/or 64 bit software isn't supported anymore otherwise it should work if the correct drivers are in place.
Personaly it'll be a cold day in hell before I install W8, but hey, as said that's personal. :hehe:

Yep, if you want your existing software to work, it's called reinstall Windows 7 and don't consider upgrading to a new OS until at least the first service pack has been released bugs are fixed all the drivers work properly and software developers have had sufficient time to use and adapt their software to work on it. N3V are not going to have a fix for an OS, that's 1 day old.
We will hopefully be getting one soon, especially as I've been getting at them over one of the major issues that's affected at least 3 versions of Trainz, with help from another Trainzer.

There are so many bugs in the default content like the couplers in Mojave Pass, the Bugs in the ECML runs, etc. It doesn't look good when you are currently selling a product with known bugs in it. If you can't fix the bugs, delete the routes prior to selling the product. I think doing that is preferable to driving people crazy wondering if they have a corrupt installation or a PC problem, when they first start using Trainz. Looking at the routes I have on my system, some payware, many freeware, and the default routes, I would say that 90% of the problems and bugs I see are in the default routes. That should not be.
The problem with Windows 8 is that it's too different and people are shocked by it.
