TS12 Remove from Archive (to delete)

What is the correct way to remove a route/sessions that are listed in the "Archived" section of my Content Manager?

I would ultimately like to remove the assets entirely.

In Content Manager (CM) go to File, Settings (ALT-F7).
Remove the archieves you want to remove and save. Only the archieve references will be removed, not the content of the actual archieves.

You can now go to the asset that used to be flagged as archieved and delete it (as long as it was not build-in of course).

Thank you... I ran into this 'can't delete assets' issue recently and this post helped me tremendously.
