TS12 - Quickdrive - Moving to another locomotive

How can I drive another locomotive in Quickdrive? I can select the consist that represents the locomotive, but I don't get the DCC controls to be visible. Sorry if this is basic; having trouble looking through the manual and figuring all this out.

Allocate a driver to it with no commands. They show then (just done it). The consist has to be stopped.
