TS12 Query

So last year I downloaded TS12, and then had a faulty pc, so couldn't run it.
I've just tried downloading a patch, and after 40mins it nothing had downloaded - so I copy the link and it says it's downloading a ts2009 patch. Is this normal?

Hi Schfartz,

I don't think you have the right patch. Make sure you know the build number of your TS12 installation at present, then go to the link below and download the applicable patch. When installing the patch DO NOT interrupt the process, it will take quite a long time and some recommend patching overnight. However if you don't want to patch overnight at least go and get yourself a coffee and something to eat.
Also remember to disable your antivirus while patching.

Careful, all patches are on the 2009 server, you probably have the correct one, some are very large so don't be surprised if it takes a long time.

Awesomes, thanks - yeah, I've been on 49922 and seeing it on 61388, it probably means that when I had managed to do a patch, it thought it was a different one. I used to play 2009 prior to 2012, I just couldn't remember the details for the account I used to register that with.

You could contact the helpdesk and inform them about your old email addresses; maybe they can merge your accounts.

Looking at the post time you missed my post, all patches whatever version will show the address as being on the 2009 server there is only the one server. A TS12 patch will show the address as on the 2009 server, hope that makes it clear?

Nah, I saw your post, and it does make sense - however, I tried to install the 49922 - 61388 and it comes up with
Querying installed Trainz versions, please wait...This patch file is not applicable to your current installation version.

Even though when I launch TS12, it clearly shows Build 49922 in the lower right of the screen, so what I'll do is re-install the game, and see if that does anything. If not then I'll contact Customer Support ;)

Cheers for the help ;)

All you need to do is click the two dots next to the install path in the Patcher and browse to the TS12 folder. The patcher gets confused if there are multiple installs and just need pointing to the correct one.
