After installing the latest (Dec 11) updates for Windows 7 (64bit), including Windows Malicious Software Removal Tool x64 - December 2013 (KB890830),
Trainz 12 launcher stopped responding and I was advised to contact somebody at Trainz HQ. I have not been able to do that.
Now when I try to start Trainz I only get the background starting sound plus a tiny Trainz dialog box which seems to indicate something (it is swapping
between numbers 1 and 2). In Windows Task Manager Trainz is running and the numbers in brackets swap between 199.7 to 200.0. - Great!
The progress bar in the tiny dialog box is not moving. - What is going on?
I would really appreciate a reply from somebody who has come across this same problem.
