TS12 autosave problem

Does anyone know how to turn off auto save? When I'm working on a route in surveyor the game keeps auto saving and when it saves it gives the name of my route "auto save" how do I get it to save in the original name or just turn off auto save?

Start TS12 normally.

Once the main screen opens up (after the launcher), click on the Main Menu.

Go to Options and then Surveyor Settings... There is a slider for AutoSave. Slide it all the way to the right to disable it.

Sorry I forgot to add....

You need to open up the AutoSave route and do a save as to your route name. This will move the AutoSave from a -2 User ID to your own. The thing is the AutoSaves are usually 'tween' saves and not necessarily your latest version. Are you sure you want that as your final version, or are you trying to recover and back from a previous save?

Whenever I finish my work on any of my routes, I do a "Save As" to the current name if the route that I have given it. I then just delete the "auto-saved" route since I just saved the most current version.
