TS Mac vs. TS 12

Hi

I have tried searching the forums for information/clues as to whether Trainz Simulator Mac corresponds to Trainz Simulator 12 - or which PC-version the Mac edition actually corresponds to :o

Can anyone shed some light on this :)

TS2010 AFAIK. Main problem with TS MAC is it has multiplayer, but for all practical purposes you can only do multiplayer with other MAC users. Allegedly "the underlying technology is there" to make TS MAC multiplayer work with TS12 multiplayer, but nobody has gotten it to work yet.

That was really embarassing  Got no mac-related hits on my searches and could not find the Mac-forum - must be blind because it is staring me right in the eyes now. Thanks a lot for pointing me in the right direction both of you :)

Pardon a newbie, but when I click on the Mac Forum link in the message above this one, I get "you do not have permission to access this page. This could be due to one of several reasons:

Your user account may not have sufficient privileges to access this page. Are you trying to edit someone else's post, access administrative features or some other privileged system?
If you are trying to post, the administrator may have disabled your account, or it may be awaiting activation."

Why can't I get to the Mac Forums? Am I doing something wrong or what do I need to do to have access to the Mac forum?

I am trying to see if I purchase the Mac version, that I will be able to use all of the files and all of the other Trainz add ons that TS2012 can. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

Hi Rod,

Sorry to tell you, but your access to the forums is limited. Not your fault, but when you have a Trainz version registered (see the little red circles and red line) other forums do upen up.

Hopefully, someone from N3V will see your post and give you some help.

You can get some info here:

Thanks for the reply & help aardvark1. Well, the link doesn't really say if I can use the non Mac modules. It's a shame that I can't have access to the Mac forum or other forums without having to purchase the product before hand. It would be most helpful to ask questions and get answers before I make a purchase. I don't understand why I can't see or be able to post on the Mac Forum without owning the product. I am not trying to use something without paying for it. Weird rules. :(
