I think I may got a lemon , I recently acquired TS2009 Build 38869 "Just Trains " I can't do anything with it , I searched on line and discovered its retail version (UK ) I live in UK . Every time I've tried to patch or download locomotives I can't . Any one know why .

No problem here downloading for TS2009. If you want assistance you will have to describe what you are doing, what you expect to happen, and what actually happens.

But there is no reason to. Download using TS12, and move the downloaded assets to TS2009.

Are you able to register the TS2009 serial number with N3V???

You might have to contact N3V helpdesk, as if my memory serves me right, I think the "Just Trains" update link no longer works for TS2009 38869 to 40040; http://trainz.shaneturner.co.uk/tutorials/index.php/trainzpatchlinks/can-i-patch-my-version

If you can patch it to 40040, you shouldn't have any problems patching it right up to 44653.
