ts 2009 Back up Query

Hello to All,
I have just copied a Route that I created in trs 2004 into ts 2009 including all the downloads that I did as well..So far all seems well..When I want to back up anything from ts 2009 what files do I use?
There is a Local file with a load of what seems to be dispatcher type files and a Trash file with some similar files in it as well...
Do I backup both these files?..Where lies the custom content and the dispatcher content so I can backup the maps as well as the downloaded files?
I hope this query is understandable to others as I am not good at explaining things clearly...

Thanks in advance:confused:

TRS2004 put all downloaded kuids in the dispatcher\downloads folder as linear files that you could access with Windows Explorer. TS2009's downloaded kuids are compressed and stored in binary format in the Local folder. You have to use Content Manager to access/manage them.

Umphies.....I back up my layouts every couple of days because I work on them daily. All I do is right click on my layout (listed under My Content in CMP) and select ARCHIVE - ACCEPT and then under NEW ARCHIVE I select Archive sending it to a external hard drive.

I hope I understand your post correctly.
