I might be wrong but I believe it means you were on the page too long, probably because you typed too much/took too long or you left the computer siting there... I'm not sure, but that is probably what it was...

I've been giving it some time, but I must say these new forums are awful! S L O W to do anything, and quite unpredictable!

Hi Everybody.
I've been giving it some time, but I must say these new forums are awful! S L O W to do anything, and quite unpredictable!

I have to agree with you there ED. I haven't got the time or trainz or this forum that I used to have and have been missing for a few weeks prior to this week. Having a few days holiday I came back in and was greeted with the new layout which in itself I did not find too bad but the forum is dead slow, you often get asked to login when you are already logged in and a couple of times when I click the button to post something it has just disappeared.

I could not see what was wrong with the old forum and there is a long-standing adage here in the UK which goes " if it ain't broke don't fix it". Along with the foregoing it would seem that many of the old forum regular posters have gone especially the British ones. It could be that it is because N3V have not moved forward significantly in the last three years or more. They seem to be afraid to try anything radical or new while other simulators have progressed radically if sometimes erratically but they have solved their problems and keep moving along.

Come on, N3V you can do better than this both on this forum and in the game. Anyway, it's back to the business next week so I shall not have time to concern myself with it again, though it has been very nice being pampered in this very nice hotel in Cornwall for the last five days looking in on the forum and running a few scenarios with trainz.

All the best
Bill
