Truck-Spawner?

I'm looking to add some tractor trailers (articulated lorries to you Brits and Aussies!) such that they will be randomly spawned with the other car traffic on road splines. Can anyone recommend anything? I've seen them in videos of other Trainz layouts on YouTube, so I know they exist (and hopefully for Trainz 2009).

Also, is it possible to limit the generation to just certain kinds of roads splines? For example those kinds of trucks would look appropriate on roads in and out of warehouse / factory districts, less so in the middle of a city.

I'm thinking you either have to create your own region, and add these trucks in manually along with other traffic, or use portals and invisible track to have the trucks only in certain areas.
