TRS2010 Problem?!?!?!

I am trying to figure out what is wrong with my copy of TRS2010 I recieved for Christmas. I opened it up, and there is only one disk, Disk 2. I found this to be odd, but the installation sheet only mentioned one disk, so I decided to try it out. The disk did not have a Setup like I expected, rather the "Autoplay" just gave me the option to view the files in Windows Explorer. I use Windows 7, so that MIGHT have something to do with it, but TRS2004 and TRS2006 installed just fine. I am GUESSING one of the disks is missing??

Any help is appreciated.

No problem, I'll order the other disk, in the meantime TRS2006 still keeps me entertained even after six years

This may not be of any help, but my installation disc for TRS2010 is only a single DVD which has everything on it.
If your disc is a CD then you probably need 2 discs but if it is a DVD you only probably need one.

I noticed that scpttish has both TRS2009 and TRS2010 so I have checked My installation discs
TRS2009 is one DVD
TRS 2010 ls two DVDs
I hope this information is of some help to you if your copy of TRS2010 was purchased from Auran
it is best if you contact the Helpdesk about the missing disc

Just to confirm, my TRS2010EE is definately only one DVD.
It has a launcher program called start.exe which is the one that autoplay normally starts and then launches setup.exe in a sub directory called Data if you confirm you want to install.
The number and types of discs supplied may vary depending on what build version is on the disc and the supplier.

Mine is also 2 DVDs. Was it purchased from Auran directly or elsewhere? Did it have the original seals on the package? It sounds like a helpdesk issue.

Sorry you are not correct. Mine's is one DVD with 5.491GB. It is possible to get more than 4.7GB on a DVD by overburning or using dual layer discs.

Anyway Alek77 if your disc does not have about 5.5GB on it you are missing a disc and need to contact your original supplier.

Mine is 2 DVDs. I suspect that the fellow who got 1 DVD got a pressed, double-layer DVD, same as TS12, which can hold up to 8.5Gb. My TS2010 came in 2 burned DVDs (high-quality, Taiyo-Yuden discs, though! Good work!) If you're pressing a disc for professional distribution, then it makes sense that Auran would have issued the game as 1 DVD since it's cheaper that way.
