As for missing content, try google for the KUID or the creators name. Also if you will look in the config for the asset it may have an E-mail or website where you can contact the creator.

I don't think I've managed to track down a single missing asset using Google. Most of the time it seems to be just dumb luck that I find the necessary fixes, or sometimes I just have to mangle the asset's config to force things to work...

I didn't know about TARL, I'll have to check it out.

edit - thanks for the coronas... seems to have sorted out a bunch of stuff.

Does anyone know of any good 3rd-party tools that can scan for missing dependencies and produce a .txt file containing the necessary info?

Sorry to revive such an old thread, but I am missing some of the assets listed here that were available from comcast, but they now return a 404 page error. Is there anywhere else I can get hold of them from?
