Trouble in the Roundhouse

Old But Crafty
I've been trying to edit a session in the Cattaraugus Creek 1950s route. I place a locomotive in the roundhouse, then select either move or fine adjustment tool to move the loco back inside. Instead the tool always selects the roundhouse assets which I don't want to move - that causes further problems such as saving the route a second time rather than the session. What am I doing wrong here? Is there any way to avoid selecting the roundhouse and just select the loco? This is with Surveyor 2.0.

Unfortunately, Trainz has a tendency to grab the largest thing nearby and ignore the smaller thing you want. I have read that it might be possible to put something like the roundhouse in another layer so it doesn't affect the locos, but I have not tried layers.

You can set the asset browser to "Filter Selection"

An then click the "train Filter".

Now only train items can be selected.
