Trouble finding content

ive just recently purchased trainz 2010 and when it comes to creating my own route half the stuff is missing for some reason, i went to edit a route paticuarly the one from york to london and all the stuff i want is on there but when i go back to creating my own and search for the stuff it doesnt even show its there and its starting to bug because im limited to only a few things, never had this problem on trainz 2006. can someone shed some light onto the problem and how i can easily solve this thanx

In the menu turn off the yellow star
In Surveyor options remove the tick from Only display favourite content.

Have you checked the "Favorites" setting? It's under Main Menu/Options/Surveyor Settings. The last entry is "Only Display Favorite Content". If that is checked then click on the box to uncheck it.
