Trigger Not Switching 1 Junction

I haven't tried triggers but if you change the radis of the junction that might help? I set my junctions to 00.05. this way when i drive a train i can switch the junction just before and just after i past the junction. So with the radis this small the trigger may beable to switch the junction in time.
To change the junction radis open the track mark go to advance where it said 20.00 change it to 00.05.then click on the junction.
Now i need to know if these triggers will work with trains you are driving or just AI ?

This is an interesting subject: When AI changes a junction, it reverts, after passing the junction to the original position. What about when it changes it still when the last car is still over the junction? and it de-rails? There has been a number of people with this problem at one time or another, and it has been posted somewhere here time ago. I still have this problem and the only way to solve it was to change the last car, or revert the direction, or just use a railcar intead of a train with cars (a draconian solution...). Anyone has a comment?

Hi Ilebrez,

I have had that problem in TRS2004 and 2006 but have not seen it in TS09,10 or 12.
Some one else may be able to confirm it does happen still.

Cheers,

The only time I've had problems with early resetting junctions causing a derail was when I thought it would be a good idea to place the signals in a seperate layer. I don't know why I got that idea but it doesn't work.

It might be that If a trigger will only work once. If you are doing yard or industry switching though, I wouldn't use a trigger because those switches would porbably be hand-controlled in the real world.

IlkestonFlyer, I now have a reason to use triggers to change junctions. Could you help me to set one up?
Where a singal line go to a passing sidding the junction is set to the right (by defult) now at the other end it set to the left, need a trigger to change junction 2 to the right and it change back after i pass.
Oh by the way you can changen the radis on track marks too the same way.(using 00.05 will stop the engine or the rear car center of the track mark)

danny5, sorry I have only just signed in first time for a few months. Did you sort this problem out? I seem to have sorted my problems now. If you need help I will try but I am sure there are people here who know tons more than I do.

I too have not been on in a while & yes i got the triggers to work. All my main line i do not have to change a switch, only when i leave the main. Glad my suggestion helpped.
