Transfer my layout from 2006 to 2010?

Hi There

I have just bought 2010 to upgrade from 2006 and want to transfer this and its contents to 2010. Please can someone tell me how to to this?

Please treat me as an imbecile and step by step me through. Your help and guidence would be much appreciated.

Save your layout in the CMP in TS2006 as a .cdp, then open the CMP in 2010 and import it. Then spend and inordinate amount of time finding missing content.

Or you can import content direct in CMP ts2010, by pointing to the local folder in TS2006, assuming they are both on the same machine. It means that all your ts2006 content gets imported. Then when you start TS2010, ensure all old content is enabled, in the options.
