TramsDem and Google Earth?

I'm just getting into TransDem 2.6 and was attempting to use Google Earth as source. The version of Google Earth produces .kmz files. Any Idea how to convert or get these files to work with TransDem?

More specifically, the TransDEM_eng.pdf, not the TransDEMTrainz_eng.pdf documentation file.

Thanks guys, I was probably reading the wrong one.

Unfortunately, a bug crept into version 2.6, regarding the Google Earth placemark method. Until it is fixed I suggest to use the Map Tile client (and Google Maps or Microsoft Bing) instead. I will address this issue when home again.
