Trainz12 - Westbound Merchanise Route

Can someone help me with this? I have driven the westbound merchandise route several times and I arrive at Bluefields and stop at the red light. It prompts me to move on to switch number 0032, however even though I arrive at Bluefields with no violations, the switch ahead changes to allow me to proceed to that switch however, the light stays red and does not change. Is there something I'm missing here? Why won't the light turn to yellow or green to allow me to proceed? Your help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you
