I thought I was buying Trainz12, but I received Railroad Simulator powered by Trainz12. Are this two programs the same under different names or are they different programs?:o

Ok, a couple questions. Did you buy from the Auran Store, a Retail store, steam, or a third party store (I.E. Amazon, Ebay)?
I don't know, it sounds like you may have been jipped off. How does it function?
P.S. It may just be Trainz 12 with different content, as you have TS12 beside your username....
P.P.S. Do you have Content Manager?

The Title of the program is Railroad Simulator powered by Trainz 12. I had to order it through WALMART online website because no-one had the actual software in the stores. It works just the same as my versions of TS2006, TS2009 and TS2010. My TS2010 version could upgrade to 49999. My TS2012 had gone upto 47772. It has a connecting website to www.justtrains.net (possibly a British Forum). I did find some of the assets being dependent on some AURAN built-in assets from TS2004 through TS2010. I had to re-install my previous version to assess and install them into the 2012 version. All of this version's downloading is going back to AURAN's web site and it had be registered through N3V games. I have had any major problems yet, but I believe I have a lot of files to fix before the next version comes out. Where can I find the current patches to download?

i have both there is no differnce whats so ever bot Content Manegers are the same it dosent matter both are laggy though

It's worth making sure you are at the latest build (as stated above) as the lagginess may have been solved in the latest build.

Be aware that most lagginess involving Content Manager may be due to faulty assets, as TrainzUtil has to check each asset for faults during certain searches.
