Trainz vs Rail Simulator?

I had a look at the file structure, but I'm not sure I want to jump through that many hoops!

After reading these posts I went back and had another run with the Kuju?EA thing. It's not at all bad really. I put a bit of effort into it and fugured out how to set points and stuff and the graphics are excellent. And it runs really smoothly and I like the sounds. I don't mind the skating people. I DO mind the way the train bobs and wiggles around when traveling. I can't imagine many people will be able to drink their coffee or do the Sudoku with all that going on !
But I like it. Going back on it now . . . . .

well i just got my copy of EA railsim the route edit going to take a little getin use to but from what ive seen so far look to be a sort of mix be tween msts and trainz

Indeed.....years ago, Bill Gates said that we'd never need more than 640K RAM....I'm sure his preception has changed with the passing of time and I'm sure there are those who would still rub his nose in it...
I get tired of the MSTS v Trainz....KRS v Trainz...and the eventual MSTSX v Trainz discussions....kind of like the never ending Rocky movies..
I'll get KRS and I'll probably enjoy it because it's got trains in it...

Hi,

Well i like trainz alot more then RS. Routebuilding is great for Trainz with the DEM tools and the GFX is great for Trainz. RS has no better GFX in my opinion. Also driving a train is alot more fun in trainz. I,m a route builder and all i can tell is that the RS has a very bad signaling system etc. I can do alot more things in trainz then RS. No peeps for me RS is out of the run. I will wait for Zusi3. I tryed and also have Zusi 2 and thats a great sim. So i stay with Trainz and wait for Zusi3. also i think because of all the great content that is made for Trainz make me stay for Trainz.
