Trainz videos

The uncoupling in the US,l air hoses do not quietly go: "PtShh" ... There is a very loud pop as the air hose glad hands violently come apart, and there is a 90PSI loud violent air escape, like an an emergency application

When coupling, there is a very loud collision, and as the 2 knunckles slam shut, the thrower, and lock falls into place, and the uncoupling lever lock lifter, and hinge makes a loud collage of 6 different metal mechanisms locking into place : Sort of like: WhamSlamClunkChinkBangRattleKaChink ... it does not simply go: "KaChink" like 2 Craftsmen tool box's full of open end wrenches coming softly together at 0.05mph !

If you ever worked in a hump yard bowl, when 2 cars come crashing together at 5mph, it is so loud that it scares the bajesus' outa' ya' !

My Coupling is orientated on european Trains.
our coupling is with a chain and hooks.
the air hoses do ptssht like in my demonstration. sometimes longer, sometimes shorter.

all sounds are recorded at a real railyard.
i'm working as train driver in germany, and the coupling and airpressure-brakesystem in trainz is very unrealistic for european users.

look here: (german speach) at 01:30 min and 03:20 min

or here: at 19:06 min

and here the Ptssht at 20:22 min and 32:15 min

please dont say, amarican Trains are all the same on the world.

The fact is that Trainz coupling, and uncoupling sounds will always be a gentle silent pansy :"Psht" and "KaLink" sound, and this is very poor example of a violent coupling and uncoupling sound that is in the real world ... just like all the previous Trainz sound effects ... very subtle and inept !

Not for my new TANE-Assets.
There will be realistic Chain-Coupling and Air-Pressure-Sounds. Also the Slag-Sounds by colliding vehicles at slow (0 - 5 kph) , medium (5 - 35 kph) and fast (over 35 kph). if your vehicles colliding faster than 35 kph, then the cars will derail.
All you can see at my Video, that is all ingame, no Video-Editing or other custom Sound edits.

why you show us an 5FPS diashow?
