Trainz versions?

Hi all,I'm wondering which version of trainz i should next purchase,I'm not really a lover of trains themselves,i actually prefer the creation aspect more so I'm wanting to know whether i should go for trainz 2009 or trainz 2010,can anyone enlighten me on which of these versions will cater more for design rather than operating the actual trains.cheers.

TS2010 has all you need for content creation and overall is a better program than TS2009. It has everything that TS2009 has and more.

I have worked with both and i would not go back to TS2009.

TRS2010 works on my computer only 1 major problem is when you save a session and it freezes up every time and doesnt respond would anyone know what souloutin i should do to resolve this problem

This appears to be a bug that came with SP3. On my machine it appears at random for no apparent reason. I find that the changes are saved despite this.

Do CTRL-ALT-DEL to fix it.

I would NOT I repeat NOT go for TS2010! I tried it, it kept stuffing up, so I put in on the shelf and stayed with TS2009. Overall, I strongly recommend you bu TS2009. I bought TS2009 installed it, then the patches and it has run like clockwork. My advice: AVOID TS2010 AT ALL COSTS. But thats just me. :hehe:

Well have to disagree with the previous post, 2010 SP3 is pretty much fault free here and a lot better than 2009 in all aspects, I have no saving problems either.
That doesn't mean to say that some people are not having problems, just it's not all of us.
