Trainz Tuner in Vista 64-bit

Has anyone got Trainz Tuner to work in Vista 64-bit? TS2009 in compatability mode runs poorly and I want more draw distance in TS2006. Seems more horsepower isn't the answer in TS2009.

I understood that Trainz Tuners main "thing" in 2006 was the draw distance, which as you know is now a "built in" for 2009.

I would be interested to know if Trainz Tuner gives you any other improvements in 2009 performance, perhaps you could post the results of your tuning?

No, I wanted more draw distance in 2006. It runs the old content so much better than 2009.

I upgraded my system to an Intel i7-920 and Nvidia GX-260. The performance is really crappy in 2009 in compatability mode. Worse than my old system. 2006 with Trainz Tuner runs much better and since everything available is 2004-2006 I will stick with the 2006 with a longer draw distance.

My new system runs 2009 in "native mode really well. Too bad there is no content.

Yeah I understood that from your post. I just thought you might be trying Trainz Tuners "other" tuning features (whatever they might be) on 2009 in compatability mode - that was what I was interested in.
