trainz the complete collection

:'( I recently purchased paradox interactive Trainz the comoplete collection. This thing wil not work I have all the latest drivers all updates. Whenever i go to launch i get a fatal error message it won't even start. Help I have a very disappointed 4 year old who loves trains.

Try switching renderers, if you're in D3D, try OpenGL or visa vesa.

Trainz is little advance for a 4 year old. Back to the problem try reinstalling and see if it works if not. Could you tell us your computer specs.

try adding the line -intro=disabled into the trainzoptions.txt file. It may be you don't have the codec for the intro video if it crashes straight away.

It isn't that advanced JRT. My 2 year old niece enjoys playing around with the "choo Choos."

I recommend reinstalling. Which version of trainz are you trying to install. The complete collection contains Ultimate, 04 and 06.

attmpted fixes

I have attempted all the recomendations you fine folks have offered. My system specs are as follows Dell computer running Windows XP media edition version 2002 service pack 2 pentium D 2.8 Ghz cpu 2.00GBRam Radeon X300 SE 128MB Hypermemory graphics card. The error message I get is as Follows Fatal Error Class:Hardware Reason:Breakpoint Exception @0036DF4D in C:\Program Files\Auran\TRS2004\bin\KernelStandard.dll it also says it is a recoverable exception??? I am a carpenter and apparently in way over my head. Other games i've run with similar system requirements have always worked. Any help at all is greatly appreciated.
