Will Trainz Simulator 2009: Engineers Edition have the Surveyor module, like Trainz Simulator: World Builder Edition has? Thanks!

But, to add to that... If you already have world builder edition installed, Engineer Edition is apparently going to be made to 'patch' into world builder edition, so that you have surveyor, driver, and the whole lot in one.

Just to add a few items gathered from posts at Trainzdev.

TEE will allow you to add rolling stock to a route and make consists within the expanded Driver mode. It will also let you save sessions you set up. It will share the same Trainz Asset Database as TS2009 WBE manages if both are installed. TEE does not replace the driver mode included in WBE, you will have two different modes for driving if both are installed.

It is not as yet known if you can add rules to your sessions when creating them or if you can adjust the properties of interactive assets.

It does not appear that it is possible to add content to TEE without having WBE. But Auran has developed an online patcher that is being used in the latest Release Candidate versions of SP2 to do updates and rebuild the TAD. It could be used to allow new content to be added to TEE. I don't know if that is in the plans.

According to what was said last year, TS09:EE will work as a kind of 'patch' (much like a service pack) if you have TS09:WBE installed. It will install the existing content into WBE, and put in all the code updatesm, and basically act as a patch. They will become one game. Or at least that is what Tony explained to us...
EE on it's own is supposed to be able to download and run additional content, including new routes, and so on...
