Trainz script

Hi

Two things, 1) where can I find the trainz script api documentation. I have trainz 2006 and 2004 and it did not come with either of the two. This is weird because once upon a time I had the first edition of trainz 2004, it was on that disc, but I gave that to some one else. When I purchased it again, along with trainz 2006, for some reason much of the documentation that was originally with the program, was no longer...... Anyway, where can I find it?

2) can anyone suggest any basic to medium tutorials on trainz script? I know a little bit of java, so that is about my knowledge level.....

Just starting myself, and finding that knowing java is a great help especially with the Object stuff.

If you download JEdit and copy the java syntax file so that it applies to .gs files you will have syntax highlighting for most of Trainz script.

You may have a few difficulties understanding Trainzscript unless you know some C++ (this is the language that TrainzScript/GameScript is based on)

Hi,

That link on that page to the API documentation has not worked for at least 2 years. It is definitely not due to Auran upgrading their servers (unless that is taking them a long long time.....) (Yes I have been searching for it for that long.). It used to be on the trainz CD with all the other content creation stuff. Any one out there have a copy they could email me? Or maybe someone from Auran could explain why it can no longer be gotten from anywhere?
