We have the latest TLR Phase 3 build ready for testing. This build includes precached shaders. There has been several Imposter optimisations and tweaks in addition to the shaders. One of the focuses was improving building rotations so please report your impressions on the building scenery.

  • MPS is not supported for this build
  • Passenger Lines can not be assigned platforms
  • 'ESC' missing from Press ESC to skip during cinematics
  • Package 696 assets not rendering
  • Building assets categorized as Class F (Foliage) will appear as Imposters closer to the camera than expected.

Downloading now - a 9GB update so it will not be quick. I did have a bit of a shock when the download indicator initially reported 8 hours remaining but after about 10 minutes, it has settled down to a more relaxing 20 minutes remaining. Currently at 6.1 MiB/sec at 10:30pm (local).
 
Ahhhhhhhhhhh! With just 13 minutes to go. Retry did not solve the issue.

OK, the download completed and install went fine. TLR is greatly improved for me. I was getting a locomotive failing many times trying to couple to a car. This has been fixed. I like that the Dispatcher seems to vary the tasks assigned much more. It was getting stuck in loops between two industries. Now on my test setup of one engine and one flatcar it is picking up loads from many different sources and dropping off to many different destinations. Very nice work.
 
Installation went OK (08:00 UK time)
One option I miss is the option to "disable dispatch for this industry" - present in the previous version.

There's a couple of industries in an isolated loop from the main route that I normally disab.e
 
n3v_Laurence, when you refer to fix for splines rendering under baseboard, is this what you are referring to or do I need to submit a bug report? This is Build 133407, and what is happening is AI trains will dive below the baseboard and derail when encountering a WHITE (I assume unlocked) spline point. YELLOW spline points do not do this.
 
Attempt #2 at 7:30am the following morning. The download succeeded taking only minutes at an average speed of 46MiB/sec. The only difference that I could see is that this time our cat was sitting on top of the desktop box.
