Does anybody know why I would get this when saving a new session...
This is in the config.txt

I deleted it and tried again, and the config.txt was in the correct format except for the end which ended in the following..

CM does not like the "min" at the end... why is it there.?

This is a known issue, the garbled data in the config file is the reason why saving sessions will sometimes be marked faulty. It also appears to be random.

I have 2 problems...

#1 Open the session i want and change the names of the routes and the change the stations to the correct order/ delete the stations I don't want. save. and next time , I have to do it all again.

#2 Why do I get the message "Dispatch Failed" when trying to assign a drive to a route.

TLR_3_screenshot

How do I get the Automatic Scheduler to goto Track2. the screenshot shows that it wants to goto Track1.
There is all ready a train on track1 going anti-clockwise. So I want the next train to go clockwise on Track2.
I can do this with Driver commands.

I created a TLR passenger session that has 6 Mento North consists in a yard near my passenger terminal. The route that I used has 14 stations on three different lines. When I assigned all 6 MN consists to dispatch manager, 5 were assign to the same line and the sixth was assigned to delivering woodchips to an industry from a lumber mill. Another problem was that the 5 passenger trains that were assign to the same line decided that they would have a convention at the first stop and got in each other's way.

ummm, My Train using driver commands is running on Track #2 and the other train that should be using Track #1 is just sitting in the yard.?? WHY. I think that the dispatcher thinks that the station already has a train running so why run another... even if it is going in the other direction. Dispatcher needs to know that there are more then 1 Tracks at the station.

I suspect that it’s the same problem it’s multi track stations and industries. The AI can’t determine the different tracks without information from the configuration file. For multi track industries the config file needs updating, but for multitrack stations (especially where the user has constructed the layout by placing several individual platforms together) it’s a bigger problem

From my understanding you have to have attachment points for track in the config.txt as example:-

attached-track
{
track_0
{
track <kuid:-1:15>

vertices
{
0 "a.track0a"
1 "a.track0b"
2 "a.track0c"
3 "a.track0d"
4 "a.track0e"
5 "a.track0f"
}
}
So why is it not possible for the Dispatcher/AI to be programed to look for these attachment points.

If you can do it by Driver commands, why not Dispatcher/AI.

I am wondering TLR would work with current multi-track industries, if the driver command "Drive to" was used instead of Navigate to". With "Navigate to" you can enter the industry without specifying the track. With "Drive to" you must specify the track even if there is only one options. Then again, maybe "Drive to" does not work because of this requirement.

Hi, TLR won’t work with multi track industries as they exist now. Eg, I have a 4 track coal mine, oil refinery and multi track port in one layout. TLR will only use coal loader track 1, the oil refinery only uses the delivery track and the multi track port doesn’t register at all.
To quote from an old post,..
“Now I have a route set up in TS22,
The coal mine (basic), lumber mill and refinery are OK.
However, the "The good news is that it's relatively simple to support. For scripters, have a look in Industry.gs, where you will find a new variant of AppendDriverDestinations() with a few new parameters, and/or check out the new function on the wiki: https://online.ts2009.com/mediaWiki/index.php/Class_Industry#AppendDriverDestinations_2"
statement is, unfortunately, about as clear as mud to me.”

If any one can help with how to do the upgrade explicitly, I’ll start upgrading industries.

The JR MIN2 (multi track industries version 2) are working just fine.
They are loading / unloading just as they did before.
Yes, but I was referring to the industries which have several tracks for different products. E.g. Auran’s oil refinery. This has separate tracks for importing and exporting. The TLR doesn’t know which to use unless the industry.gs is updated.
I can see the MIN in use for deliveries to a warehouse (and collection from same) as it only needs one track, but multi track industries (I.e. different lines) are quite common on the DLS.

If you look at the Coal Country HD - the Auran demo for TLR, all the industries are using MIN with a scenery item.
Cheers,
Colin

@sw1500 You can select the platforms on both Navigate to & Drive to.
Actually, designating a track is required by the "Drive to" command even if there is only one while it is not for "Navigate to". Also, the method of entering the info is different. "Navigate to" has two input fields while "Drive to" is through selecting.
