Trainz Plus and Surveyor

I messed around yesterday with the new build in TRS22 (Trainz Plus) and the new version of surveyor. I didn't have any problems laying track and roads, etc. But I have a question. Can I use all the new tools in the new version of Surveyor in Classic Surveyor?

I have the updated version, build 122411, and Classic Surveyor still works for me. Even in routes converted to HD. I have used the bulk replace function and several other features in the Classic Surveyor.

I'm an old man who has been using Trainz since 2004. About 9 months ago I decided to go all in with Surveyor 2.0. I printed out the instruction sheets which were available and used them often as I used the new system. It took about a month for me before I really started to understand the power of the new surveyor. Occasionally I would go back to the classic surveyor to do some things which I found difficult to do in Surveyor 2.0. As time went on, I found myself going back less and less often. Today I find Surveyor 2.0 so much easier and faster to use then the classic survey. The more you use it the more you appreciate how it speeds up creating and modifying routes.

I've been avoiding it too as it reminds me of switching from GMax to Blender. You know what you need to do but am unfamiliar with how to do it.
