thanks i will give that a go mateDarren, it depends on the model, who made it and what their file system naming protocall is.
Many Trainz models have a graphics file named "main". It refers to the main map for the textures. A complicated model may have several or more texture files, you just have to open them, see where they apply to the model and experiment. WHERE the files are depends on which version of Trainz you are using. Using 2006 and later, use CMP or CM2 to clone a version, then open it in explorer to look at the files. Previous versions of Trainz have a different filing system.
