Trainz on laptop??

For a laptop, just download the gamebooster program by Iobit. Without this program, I saw around 20-40 fps without this program. Now,when I use it, I see 60-70 fps, on my laptop. It feels like I am using a better laptop geared towered gaming.

I am trying the GameBooster free version ... I will let you know how my GF's Toshiba Satellite 105 does using it.

EDIT: So far the free version made my screen blinding bright, and turned of 43 unnecessary feateres, but I will see if it has any better effect on framerates ... which I see are no better, as of yet ... still playing with GameBooster.

Does the paid: $ 9.95 version have better effects ?

And is that a yearly re-occuring $ 9.95 charge ?

I am using a 4 year old Dell Vostro 1500 with 3.5 GB Memory, Intel Core 2 Duo CPU T7500 @ 2.20 GHz and a Nvidia GeForce 8600M GT video card. I can run TS2009 fairly well. I can not run TRS2006 at all the frame rate is so bad. As I said it is 4 years old and slowing down and I am planning on upgrading to a maxed out Dell XPS 17 soon. I would stay as far away from HP as I could, my dad has one, he does not use it for gaming, but has had alot of trougle with it.

That's weird, you should notice some sore of improvement. I notice about 10-15fps improvement. Most of the time, my dell inspiron 1545 will hit 50-75fps. I am so proud of this program. I am currently using the freeware version of this program. I think in the payware version, you should notice more improvements.

I think I see some improvements using GameBooster, but haven't tested the Fraps framerates ... as I am preoccupied laying track and signals on my route.
