Trainz Mac Multiplayer

Does trainz mac have multiplayer? If so how can I get on a Session?

I don't have a Mac so IDK.
But you need to have a session that someone is running.
It needs to be on the DLS or Built in.
If you DL a route & session that is for MP you can start it your self.
,and mabe someone will join you?
Don't know how big of a route a Mac can handle, you may DL Thompson and Western session 1 <kuid2:105915:100081:1>Arthor danny5 (created by GN1996)
After DLing it,right click on the session go down to view dependences,then view in main list,scroll down if you see any puzzes right click on them and DL them.
Everything in this route/session is built-in or on the DLS.(content manager)

What about UMR Summer? Is it any good to play and download?

UMR Summer is an excellent Route/session. It is usually open 24/7 and it is probably the most popular multiplayer session for English speaking people. The downside is that is an extremely large route so you really need a FST to download it and you need a decent computer to run it. I have no knowledge of Mac Computers except that i don,t think they are too bad. You could also try the one I,m hosting for the next few days, A and SLT etc!. Also avaiable via Content Manager but not so large as UMR. See my thread for further details.

good luck hoping to host a session, yes people have "first class tickets" but the majority do not so if you want the best chances you need either a rout/session with built in assets or some patient players for instance if you don't and you wish to join UMR summer you will need to spend 14 days maybe 15 to download the assets to be able to play so in reality you have to pay for the game which is advertised as having MP but in order to play MP you need to buy a download ticket aswell.

Just to clarify a point Francis made. It is not a requirement of Multiplayer to have a First Class Ticket. (FST). In fact I know somebody who downloads large Multiplayer Routes without one. He must have the patience of a Saint. Personaly, I couldn,t manage without one and I certainly don,t have the patience to even attempt it.

A First Class Ticket is not so you can DL large route but to help pay for the server. A FCT will indeed speed up your DL time.
After all everything you DL from the DLS & CM is FREE so what more do you want. So spend 9.99,24.99 or199.00 but get one!
So i can keep downloading while assets are free.
