Trainz loads, but on the main screen there are no game icons

New install (new computer). Installed, allowed it to run all patches. Build 58414.

No errors as far as I know, but I have no icons to play the game. This is all I get. I put it into windowed mode to get the screenshot, but fullscreen does the same thing.

Any ideas welcomed!

Delete the library cache, it was probably f***ed up during the patch. The cache is not necessary to run the game and will repopulate as script and asset libraries are called.

Ensure you have installed DirectX 9.01c

If your new computer comes with, or you have built it0 with Windows 7 or higher, install and run Trainz as Administrator and to a folder such as C:\TS12

To fix that problem, an extended database repair is required. This can be done by clicking Content on the Launcher, then when Content Manager appears, clicking File followed by Extended Database Repair (note this may take a while depending on how much content you have installed).
