Trainz has stopped working????????er no.

Keep getting a message after exiting trainz, Trainz has stopped working correctly and windows will notify you of a solution, and will close program. I know taddaemon takes a while to catch up with anything you do so I usually wait 5mins before exiting game. But this message still persists, In task manager taddaemon is showing like 160,578 stuff going on. Is this windows 7 problem or a Trainz problem. As everything seems to be working fine. Just a bit perplexed.

Try a database repair, beats waiting for a windows solution.
Use the link to get taddeamon to show in the task bar then you know when it's shut down.

Did database repair a while back, that didnt work, so will try plan b, see what happens.

It's worth checking the following:

Permissions (Trainz) - is Trainz set to run as administrator?
DirectX - is the latest DirectX (June 2010/April 2011) installed?
Patches - have you installed the relevant patches for your version?

Thanks, but yes to all. still cannot tell when taedaemon shuts down until exit game, when windows tell me i it has a problem. I am running full screen so cannot see anything at the bottom. Should i change the size i run at.

TADDaemon is a background process that lingers about a minute after exiting Trainz. You can watch it in Task Manager.

Tadd is in a window near the windows start thingy if you've enabled it to show. It appears when you launch trainz and goes away 2-3 mins after you close trainz.
Run at your screens native resolution, set it in options and in the nvid or ati set up.
