Trainz Downloder Pro

Hi,

I purchased Trainz 2006 and removed Trainz Downloder Pro because of the content manager plus software. I now need Trainz Downloder Pro for my Trainz UTC version but the site I got it from is closed / being redesigned.
Does anyone have the setup for this software that they could email me ?

Jelte's site does not provide a link to Downloader Pro anymore; however, I found what appears to be a similar program called Trainz Agent here: http://www.sectionshed.com/english/downlprog.html
I have no idea if it will work with TRS2006 as far as auto-installing to the game, but if downloading to a separate folder away from Trainz itself, I don't see a problem.
I thought I had a copy of the setup files for Downloader Pro, but alas, I do not; so, if I ever have to reinstall, I'm also stuck.

TrainzAgent will work with anything except 2006 (I think, just never tried it :D ). Its very simple to use however you have to extract each CDP. I have been using it for years and prefer it over the Download Helper.

Wouldn't it be great...

I would love an independant downloader for TRS2006. I only have dialup at home, but I have a T1 at work... so, naturally, I prefer to do most of my downloading there and bring it home on CD.

I think you can do that with downloader pro you can set the destination folder or location then load into 06 from the cd same as importing content from another folder.

That's very encouraging! I haven't been able to locate in anywhere on the web. The only search hit links to a missing page.

I see you mentioned that you have it... What would it take to get it from you?

Thanks a million! Trainz Downloader Pro is the greatest thing since... Trainz!

I'm able to download off the DLS from a computer (with high-speed internet) that doesn't have Trainz installed and get the dependencies too!

I burn my downloads to CD, take them home and voila!

I Know that... I also happen to know that you can download CDPs using the DLS front end one at a time.

I've been here since Trainz V1 and i'm beginning to get the feeling that I'm granny and I'm being taught how to suck eggs.
