Trainz 2019 Platinum will not rebuild database.

I cannot get the DB Repair to actually finish it gets to about 95% or so and just stops. CPU using etc goes straight to 0. I had it try to finish overnight and it just sat for 8 hours no change. I have attempted 6 or 7 times to no avail. I was hoping for a better experience with 2019 after pulling the trigger to get it and move on from TANE.

Have you tried an EDBR? Hold down the CTRL key while clicking on DBR and it will do a more extensive rebuild. It can take a while.

It sounds like there's a corrupted script or something that requires a bit more brute force to fix.

TRS19 must be closed before performing this procedure:

Using Windows File Explorer, navigate to where your TRS19 data is located.

Deleted the following files:


assets.tdx
asset-cache.tdx

Go to the cache folder and empty the contents of the following folders:


internet
libraries

DO NOT DELETE THE FOLDERS!!!

Once everything is deleted, start TRS19 again. A DBR will run, rather quickly too and you'll be all set. The precaching will run again as you load up routes and your menus may be empty when you first load up, but once the content is cached again, you should be all set.
