Trainz 2010 Database problem

hey people i create a route and Every time i start the game the computer looses my save file data when i start the game it says it is updating the registry file and in the process it deletes my file what do i do

Are you saying registry or database? If database, then do a full scan from CMP and tell us the results. Also post back the OS thatt you use. If registry, then the problem is with your OS system or your install of trainz. I'm not 100% sure on that tho.

G-day Baz i am using OS Windows 7 if say i have a saved route or map that im creating every time i start the game it says that it is searching for added content from the system database i dont know what the problem is or whats causing it

Couple of things here...

First .

Run Trainz as an administrator. This will ensure that it runs fine with Windows 7.

Second.

Wait a good five minutes when you shutfown trainz. This will give the program a chance to commit any changes you have made to the database properly.

Even though I'm not using Trainz 2010, I think this may be an OS problem.

Firstly, make sure you are running Trainz as an administrator (I can post instructions on how to do this if required)

Also, it may be worth making sure you are running at least TS2010 SP2 (someone with TS2010 may be able to advise further on the patching side)
