can i download trainz classics items onto trainz 2009 since its a later version than classics. theres a route for trainz classics 1 and 2 called kennedy island and i want to know if i can use it in trainz 2009
All you need to do is save the route and assets as CDP'S in TC and then import them into 2009. You also need to create a new folder accessible to both versions as a place to store them temporarily (or permanently) if you wish. I have done this with 06 and 09 and it works well.
If the route is on the DLS you can download it and it will play in 09. You will need to check for missing assets in CMP and then download them also, if available.
oh ok because i was wondering if it will work the way it did when it came down to 06 and 04. when i put in my 06 serial number i was automatically able to download 04 assets
