Trainz 2006 CD vs DVD

is there any difference in the Cd and Dvd version in terms of the serial and DLS. Will I have limited access with CD version and full access with DVD version, etc

Doesn't matter if you have the CD version or the DVD version of TRS2006.

The only difference is how many times you have to open the drawer and stick in a new CD on installation.

with DVD, there is only one disc.

The limited edition did yes, but there is a standard version of the DVD that does not.
