Copy and paste the text into a post or two.

You may also want to repost your question in a more visible forum such as the TS12 support, or even the General forum.

As I said earlier I tried to send the SPEC'S but they are to BIG for this POST. I did send them to Zec at Auran but that was 2 weeks ago and they still have not gotten back to me. Can I send the SPEC'S to your email address and if so whats the address? If you can help with this problem that would be appreciated.

You only need three things, processor type, RAM, and video card. Lower left corner of the desktop click the Start button, then Run.

In the Run window that opens up, type DXDIAG then click the OK button.

First screen tells you what kind of processor and the clock speed in GHZ, below that the amount of RAM. Write that down, then click the Display tab;

Which will tell you your video card type and amount of video RAM.

Memory looks a bit low for Trainz.

Not sure on graphics, as Sniper297 omitted another piece of crucial information - the date of the latest graphics drivers (this can also be got from either my utility, or dxdiag)

Is the processor a dual-core or a single core?

Shane

Sorry to say, but you are running on the very low spectrum as far as graphics cards go. The latest ATI cards are the 6800 and 6900 series cards, with the 6700 and 6600 series being just a bit slower than the others. I myself have a 6770 and it runs great. Did you buy this PC new? If so, it should have a graphics card that is a bit better than a 3000 series. Does anyone know if the 3000 series onboard graphics? I also agree with shaneturner, the memory looks quite low for a Windows 7 computer, considering it uses quite a bit of ram.

Reason I left that out was to find out the hardeware first - the Radeon 3000 is one of them totally hopeless onboard integrated graphics chips made for colored graphs and pie charts, useless for 3D games. There is no driver that will make that perform like a real video card. CPU is hopeless too;

http://www.cpubenchmark.net/cpu_lookup.php?cpu=AMD+Athlon+II+170u

Scroll up a couple hundred lines to find the Pentium D 3.4ghz that TS12 calls for. Needs a whole new computer to run TS12, doesn't even come close to the minimum system specs for the game.

Looks like the OP went straight from UTC to TS12 on the same computer, from the sounds of the specs. As others have said, waaaay under powered. :(

Sad that the Trainz experience was tarnished by inadequate hardware. Let this be a lesson to others. If you don't have the hardware, don't expect the software to perform. :eek:

Not sure if you've noticed sniper297, but the OP has not stated whether it's a dual core or not.

If it is a dual-core processor, then that is a different kettle of fish.

I wonder if my recently updated utility may help (unless you're not keen on it for some reason)

All the information I recieved from everyone was helpful. I did the research and found out that the computer in question was new but lacking certain SPEC'S. so luckly I just so happen to have a second Windows 7 computer with more power and an up-to-date video card.
'Nvidia GeForce 9100' and memory is 6144 MB of RAM.
